There is a dilemma that all newlyweds are facing at a romanian wedding. Should they go on the tradiotional way or not? What will the parents say, but the guests? Some say that the traditions will fade if nobody will take care of them. Others will say that this is evolution. Most will try to reconcile both.
Sorina and Cristi managed to have a unique wedding. Since the first meeting with them they told me that their wedding will not be a traditional one. Obviously, I was very excited to hear that. As a photographer, I’m always attracted by the unknown.
We obviusly talked about the shooting locations, about the music at the party and they even told me how they are going to be dressed. I was already imagining their wedding.
The wedding day came and we began with a photo session in the theater “Filotti Maria” in Braila. After that, we attended the religious ceremony then we shot some more photographs on a beautiful street in Braila. Then we went to the party
Although I knew very well the dressing code I did not realize that I’m “overdressed” until the party. I think this was my chance to go to a wedding in a t-shirt and sneakers but I missed it.
At the party I shot a lot using only the ambient light to capture the atmosphere on the dance floor. I also did some shots using the reverse light painting technique.
It has been a pleasure meet them and to be near them on that extremely important day. I congratulate you for how you’ve done your wedding and wish you a beautiful life together!
